This system is engineered with an innovative two-rollers design. When combined with the bevel of your tool, it defines a flat plane. The holders have precision-machined shoulders that maintain your tool perpendicular to the axles and parallel to the wheel surfaces, giving you almost absolute assurance of a square edge on your tool provided your sharpening stone is flat.
The clamping screws can be easily adjusted. Disassemble by spinning out the clamping screw and sliding off the slave jaw from guide posts for full access to wheel mounting screws. The deep square cut Acme thread ensures speedy adjustment while providing secure grip over tools.
Moreover, it also offers a versatile Sharpening Angle Fixture which presents different angles according to need. This unique set-up tool provides precise reference for primary bevel angles ranging between 15°-45° in increments of 5° as well as an alternative 2°micro-bevel off for each primary bevel angle range mentioned earlier. Each angle possesses positive pin registration quickening repeat sharpenings whilst easing methodology.
