This device measures the freezing point of antifreeze and glass cleaning agents, as well as the proportion of lead-acid battery electrolyte. It includes a temperature compensation device which ensures convenient measurements and accuracy within an ambient temperature range of 10°C to 30°C.
The instrument employs the total critical angle reflection method to measure a solution’s refractive index. This is then used to calibrate liquid concentration and performance. Due to its reliable principle, accurate readings, light weight, compact size, attractive design and ease of use, this refractometer is extensively used in the automotive industry.

4) Right scale identifies glass cleaning solution freezing point.
